2.5-inch pipe has an outside diameter of 73 mm. This pipe size is often used in concrete hot tubs, as a conduit for Waterway's gunite series of jets, among others. It is also sometimes used in high-flow circuits such as counter-current swim jets. We sell it in lengths of 85 cm.
Why 85 cm, you ask? It allows us to cut 7 lengths out of a 20-foot pipe, and transport costs are cheaper when the box is less than a metre long.
The pipe is Schedule 40 or "SCH 40" compliant, with an outside diameter of 73 mm and an inside diameter of 62 mm.
