Polytropic Mini 05 heat pump
Developed by the French brand Polytropic to quickly heat spas, plunge pools and small pools, the Mini 05 heat pump is a compact, energy-efficient and easy-to-install solution to help you enjoy your wellness space for longer. Suitable for water volumes up to 20 m³, it quickly raises the water temperature while reducing energy consumption compared with traditional electric heating systems.
Installation is particularly simple: equipped with a power plug and built-in electrical protection, the Mini 05 can be connected directly to a standard electrical outlet. Its intelligent electronic controller allows you to easily set your preferred temperature and automatically manage the heat pump’s operation.
Compact and intuitive, its small footprint makes it easy to integrate into your installation, while its automatic operation allows you to enjoy comfortably warm water with minimal effort.
The Mini 05 is a great solution for spas used all year round in temperate regions, and if you do not use your spa in the winter in colder regions. If you will need to use your heat pump when the air temperature drops below 0°C then we recommend the Stepio.

Connections
The Mini 05 comes with two hose clamps, two splined adapters for 32mm and 50mm hoses and a black plastic end cap for 16mm hoses.
The heat pump must be installed on the circulation pump circuit with a bypass kit (sold separately) with 3 valves to adjust the flow of water passing through the Mini 05 as well as for maintenance purposes.
The feet are easily adjustable to ensure the heat pump is level.
Connecting the power cable
Equipped with a standard electrical plug (80 cm cable length) and circuit breaker, the Urban 30 heat pump plugs directly into a standard wall socket without the need for a mechanical room.
Installation
Set the desired temperature on the heat pump and start your spa circulation pump by setting it for 24 hours. Set your spa to 'Eco' or 'Rest' mode with the temperature set to the lowest setting. Your spa's heater will then only be activated if the water temperature is too low (e.g. when filling until the water has reached the temperature set on the keypad).

Important
The heat pump must always be stored, transported and installed in a vertical position. Never lay it down or turn it upside down, as this will void the manufacturer's warranty.
